Bamford Dental Practice at The Great North Swim
A team from Bamford Dental Practice successfully completed the one mile swim at The Great North Swim event at Windermere, Cumbria on Saturday (11 June).
Sponsored by patients, family, friends and suppliers the team raised £6,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
It was the first open water swim for the team and they were amongst almost 10,000 swimmers at the three day event, which is billed as the largest open water swim in the UK.
All the swimmers completed the course in very respectable times.
A spokesperson said: "We wish to thank all our donors and sponsors for making it a great day."
