Heywoood business gears up for cycle challenge – to Paris

Date published: 03 June 2016

Staff from Junair Spraybooths and AGM Services are gearing up for a long cycle challenge to Paris in order to raise funds for automotive industry charity BEN.

The team will cycle from the BEN headquarters in Lynwood all the way to the French capital.

So far over £600 has been raised on donations.

The cycle route passes through picturesque towns and villages towards Hampshire and the South Downs, before reaching Portsmouth where the riders will board the overnight ferry to Caen.

The cycle through France sees the riders passing through farmlands, quaint hamlets and villages before finally cycling along the Seine whilst looking out for the iconic Parisian landmarks including the Sacre Cour and Arc De Triomphe, before finally cycling down the Champs Elysees to the finish line beneath the arches of the Eifel Tower.

Neil Morrison, Managing Director Junair Spraybooths and AGM Services commented: “We feel it’s important to put back into the community and this cycle ride is the perfect opportunity to do just that."
