Carole Hallows returns to her roots

Travel agent manager Carole Hallows has returned to the Littleborough branch where she began her managerial career almost 20 years ago.
Carole, from Todmorden, started her career with Althams Travel in 1983 on the Youth Training Scheme. She was chief clerk at the Todmorden branch, before being promoted to assistant manager. Ater this she managed Littleborough in 1996, and was then moved to Bury to manage a larger branch.
She said: “Working for Althams is an absolute honour, I’ve seen the company go from strength to strength over the years, and I’m looking forward to working with my new team and continuing the growth of the Littleborough branch.”
Eddie Starkie, managing director said: “Carole is an instrumental part of the community here at Althams Travel.
“The move to Littleborough is a great one for both Carole and the team. She has already implemented a number of positive changes and has plenty of ideas for the future.”
