Zen named Which? Recommended Provider for Broadband Services

Date published: 18 March 2016

Rochdale-based Zen Internet has been named a Which? Recommended Provider for Broadband Services.

Zen’s status was underscored with a five-star rating for ease of set-up, reliability, clarity of bills, ease of contacting, customer service and technical support.

Which? questioned 3,717 broadband customers about their experiences to identify the best ISP providers in the UK. The customer score (as a percentage) is based on overall score and the likelihood of users to recommend an ISP to a friend.

Andrew Fryatt, managing director of Zen’s Small Business & Residential Division, said: “Our mission is to provide the best ISP service in the UK, so we are delighted to be recognised as a Which? Recommended Provider for Broadband Services.

“This acknowledges the commitment of the entire team at Zen, especially our technical support and customer services team who go above and beyond for customers every day.

"We would also like to thank those customers who have taken the time to rate their experience with Zen. We genuinely aim to be the best and believe that our services provide real value to our customers.”

Which? said: “Zen Internet came top in our survey with the highest customer score of any provider. An incredible 98% of customers surveyed said they were satisfied with the service, and 95% would recommend it to a friend.

“Our Recommended Providers hit the mark year after year, delivering an excellent service and producing thousands of happy customers. The conclusion is clear. If you’ve put up with poor service for too long, switch to Zen Internet – you’re unlikely to regret it.”

The Which? accolade coincides with Zen’s twentieth anniversary when the company also announced a record year, with revenues rising from £50.6m to £54.2m, and was confirmed as one of the best companies to work for by The Sunday Times. Previous awards for service include the PC Pro award for Best ISP and winner of both the UK Customer Experience Silver Award and the Services Company of the Year Award at the UK IT Industry Awards.
