HansenGroup, which is one of the largest producers of windows, doors and walls in Northern Europe, has chosen Cedar House, Sandbrook Park as the new base for its UK operations.
The company, whose clients include large shopping developments and leisure centres, has already taken on two experienced systems designers from Rochdale, as well as a business apprentice, recruited through Rochdale Training, which supplies apprentices across the borough. A new commercial manager has just been appointed and further job opportunities are in the pipeline.
Tomas Andersen, COO of HansenGroup, said: “With significant growth plans for our UK operations, it was time to find a more suitable HQ which was convenient for employees and would give us room to expand. With easy access to the M62, Sandbrook Business Park offered the ideal location. Rochdale Borough Council and Rochdale Development Agency were also able to make the move as smooth as possible and gave us a lot of support.”
As well as convenience, the park’s low accommodation costs is understood to have played a key role in the company’s decision to relocate to Rochdale.
