Details:
A fairly low level winter walk, on generally good paths with a few hills but nothing strenuous. The walk takes us through Chadderton Park, Tandle Hills, Thornham, Hopwood and returns along the Rochdale Canal.
Please note, that due to the popularity of these walks, car sharing whenever possible would reduce parking congestion.
Advise: Walking Boots, Waterproofs if needed, adequate clothing, snack and drink.
Generally dogs are not permitted, with exception of Registered Assistance Dogs, but anyone wishing to bring a dog should contact the Walk Leader in advance to obtain His/Her consent or otherwise.
