Details:

WHAG is proud to be hosting an Anti- Harassment training session by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust funded by L’oreal.

This training session is designed to empower delegates to be active bystanders when they see harassment taking place, without putting their own personal safety at risk. The programme drives awareness of harassment, upskilling and empowering bystanders across various settings such as public transport, educational institutions, festivals, public spaces, and workplaces, to help defuse situations, discourage harassers, and support victims.

This is a free training session that is open to all members of the public. This event starts at 12pm with Bystander Training and a Questions and Answers session. This will be followed with networking over light refreshments until 2pm when this event will end.

Places are limited, so book yours now. The Masonic Hall is easily accessible by public transport with Rochdale Railway Station and Metrolink Tram stop within walking distance. There is also plenty of parking space available on site for those driving.

This training session is part of the White Ribbon campaign to end male violence against women and girls, in collaboration with RCT.

We hope to see you there.
