This is a varied walk starting at Lydgate.  We will ascent half way to Blackstone Edge and then go leaft following the drain round to the White House, along the edge of a couple of reservoirs, then drop down to the canal before picking a way back along and up to Lydgate.

Please note, that due to the popularity of these walks, car sharing whenever possible would reduce parking congestion.

Advise: Walking Boots, Waterproofs if needed, adequate clothing, snack and drink.

Generally dogs are not permitted, with exception of Registered Assistance Dogs, but anyone wishing to bring a dog should contact the Walk Leader in advance to obtain His/Her consent or otherwise.
