The Singing Ringing Tree from Towneley Park
Start place: Towneley Park Riverside car park. Cost £2. Use the entrance off Todmorden Road opposite James Hargreaves Bathrooms.

Details:

This is a moderate walk through Towneley Park and along the Burnley Way up to the Singing Ringing Tree then down towards Cliviger and back into Towneley Park.  There are some inclines and the ground may be uneven and muddy in places.

Please note, that due to the popularity of these walks, car sharing whenever possible would reduce parking congestion.

Advise: Walking Boots, Waterproofs if needed, adequate clothing, snack and drink.

Generally dogs are not permitted, with exception of Registered Assistance Dogs, but anyone wishing to bring a dog should contact the Walk Leader in advance to obtain His/Her consent or otherwise.
