Venues across the borough
Details:
The borough of Rochdale is ready to celebrate its fantastic architecture and heritage with the return of the National Heritage Open Days festival, running from Friday 6 September - Sunday 15 September.
Every year in September, England’s largest voluntary cultural event returns as a celebration of local and national heritage. Rochdale takes part by opening the doors to various historic buildings throughout the borough that are usually closed to the public or charge an entrance fee.
Local buildings full of history will be open and free to explore, many of which include differing age, style and function across the borough all with fascinating guided tours and talks.
There are also heritage trails in Rochdale over the weekend of 7/8 September and Middleton over the weekend of 14/15 September.
Venues, buildings and trails across the borough with Heritage Open Days sessions can be found in the events section of Rochdale Online:
Entry fee: Free
