Walk distance = 7.5 miles.

The walk starts with a steep ascent from Whitaker Park to Cribden Moor and then to Rising Bridge where we cross the A56 and enjoy some moorland walking before recrossing the A56 and making our way back to Whitaker Park via the Halo.  This walk has some lovely views.

Please note, that due to the popularity of these walks, car sharing whenever possible would reduce parking congestion.

Advise: Walking Boots, Waterproofs if needed, adequate clothing, snack and drink.

Generally dogs are not permitted, with exception of Registered Assistance Dogs, but anyone wishing to bring a dog should contact the Walk Leader in advance to obtain His/Her consent or otherwise.
