Built and rebuilt over the generations, its stonework dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries. See the splendid stained glass windows, including the 'Faith, Hope and Charity' window by Edward Burne-Jones, created in the William Morris factory.
Thirties stage and film star, Gracie Fields, was baptised in 1898 in the 13th Century font.
Furniture and carvings have connections with the Byron family, Lords of the Manor until the poet Lord Byron sold out in the 1800s.
This is a family friendly venue, suitable for all ages.
On the Saturday, there will be a staged performance by actors of Skylight Circus dramatizing the history of the Church and locality.
