Steep Steps to Heptonstall!
Start place: Meet in the car park at Hebden Bridge station. On road parking is available on Palace House Road (HX7 6HS) and other residential roads in the area.
Grid Ref: SD994268
Postcode: HX7 6JD

Details:

Walk distance = 8.5 miles.

This is a moderate/strenuous approx 8 mile walk with an initial very steep ascent to Heptonstall.  There is woodland and moorland walking and, as always in the Calderdale area, there are ongoing ascents and descents including more steep steps later in the walk. Some of the steps are quite high.

Please note, that due to the popularity of these walks, car sharing whenever possible would reduce parking congestion.

Advise: Walking Boots, Waterproofs if needed, adequate clothing, snack and drink.

Generally dogs are not permitted, with exception of Registered Assistance Dogs, but anyone wishing to bring a dog should contact the Walk Leader in advance to obtain His/Her consent or otherwise.

They welcome new and potential members to join their walks.
