Start place: Meet outside the Roebuck Inn, Burnley Road, Portsmouth - above 4 miles out of Todmorden travelling towards Burnley. There is no parking at the Roebuck but on street parking is available in the vicinity.

Details:
Walk distance = 10 miles.
This is a mainly moorland walk in the hills above Portsmouth. As usual in the Calderdale area there will be many ascents and descents and uneven ground.
Please note, that due to the popularity of these walks, car sharing whenever possible would reduce parking congestion.
Advise: Walking Boots, Waterproofs if needed, adequate clothing, snack and drink.
Generally dogs are not permitted, with exception of Registered Assistance Dogs, but anyone wishing to bring a dog should contact the Walk Leader in advance to obtain His/Her consent or otherwise.
