Details:

Darnhill Festival 2024 takes place Saturday 6 July in and around Argyle Parade.

Summer festival organised by Cartwheel Arts on behalf of Darnhill Festival Association.

The procession will set off at 12 noon from Argyle Parade followed by a full programme of entertainment and activities for all ages including:  

  • Skylight Circus
  • Art Activity Tent
  • Live Music
  • Family-Friendly Tent
  • Silent Disc
  • Climbing Wall
  • Bouncy Castle
  • Drumming Workshop
  • Storytelling
  • Theatre
  • Dancing
  • Skateboarding
  • The Yard

The festival starts with a space-themed carnival parade featuring the creations of local primary schools, Rochdale Youth Service’s The Yard, Rochdale Connections Trust and community groups. Expect drumming and samba dancing from Manchester School of Samba, stilt walkers from Artemis Productions, live music, and out-of-this-world costumes. 

There will be plenty of stalls offering a range of different things. Something for everyone!
