Meet at the car park at Baitings Dam

Details:
Walk distance = 8 miles.
National Grade : Moderate.
From the car park at Baitings Dam, the walk follows the Ryburn River into Ripponden and then sections of the Calderdale Way to Great Manshead before returning to Baitings.
Please note, that due to the popularity of these walks, car sharing whenever possible would reduce parking congestion.
Advise: Walking Boots, Waterproofs if needed, adequate clothing, snack and drink.
Generally dogs are not permitted, with exception of Registered Assistance Dogs, but anyone wishing to bring a dog should contact the Walk Leader in advance to obtain His/Her consent or otherwise.
