Join us for our monthly open day!

This month we welcome an Exhibition by The Northern Potters Association.

We have an onsite café serving sandwiches, cakes, pies and soft drinks as well as a small souvenir / gift shop.

Home to one of only three schedule historic monuments in Rochdale, we house the world's largest working steam mill engines - Victoria and Alexandra.

The Engine House is open and steaming on the first Sunday of every month. Situated just off junction 21, M62 we are easy to find just look out for our 220ft chimney!

Everyone welcome. No booking is necessary.

COAL SURCHARGE We regret to inform visitors that because the price of coal has doubled we need to impose a surchargeon entry.

At our current rate we will be losing £400 to £500 each steaming. The Trust decided that we would not reduce the number of steaming but ask visitors to pay a surcharge of £2.50 for entry. If the price alters again then the matter will be re-assessed.

Please note, due to the nature of the site we can only offer limited disabled access,

but we do have a chair lift.

Entry fee: Entry is £5 (£7.50 inc surcharge) per adult with accompanied children under 16 free.
