Details:

At Rochdale Parish church we have recently replaced our 8  Bells with 10 and they are now in place.

We are having a dedication service on the 6th of October led by the Bishop of Manchester.

You are welcome to join us for this service of celebration, dedication, naming and installations of our new bells.

This will be a highlight of our anniversary year, the 830th Anniversary of the first vicar of Rochdale.

We have also been running a competition to name the bells with the 2 smallest and newly cast bells being named by St Peter’s CE Primary and Broadfield school children.  The names will be announced in the service.

  • 11.15am Harvest Service
  • 1pm Harvest Lunch
  • 2pm Bell Service

The Bells will be rung before and after the service by visiting bell ringers.

You are welcome to any or all of these events.

Please let us know in advance if you will be joining us for lunch.
