Nye Bevan Health Centre in Rochdale will hold a special ‘Community Open Day’ on Wednesday 15 November, offering chance for residents across Rochdale to find out more about some of the new and existing health, social care, charity and community services available to the local community.

The Health Centre already plays a vital role in supporting community health with facilities including GP surgeries; mental health services; sexual health services; minor surgery facilities; support services for older people; opticians, pharmacy and a range of specialist outpatient clinics.

The community open day, offers Rochdale residents of all ages chance to pop into Nye Bevan and find out about the many services available – key activities will include:

  • Local craft business selling products
  • Local Charities promoting their services
  • Raffle prizes
  • Mindfulness sessions including yoga and massage
  • Refreshments in the Mind Café
  • Rochdale redevelopment plans

The main theme of the day is Health and Wellbeing but with a strong focus on Net Zero and what we are doing as an organisation to help the borough hit their targets.
