Details:
Fun family day out with stalls and entertainment put on for all and free to get in, however donations would be greatly appreciated as all proceeds go to local charities.
The Heywood Charities Fete is an annual event which has taken place in Heywood since at least the 1930s. It usually involves a parade through Heywood involving lots of local voluntary groups and organisations.
Unfortunately, there will be no parade this year. However, there will be plenty going on in Queen's Park. Gates will be open to the public from 10.30am.
This year at Heywood Charitites Fete there will be a funfair, fairground stalls, entertainment on the bandstand, a dog show, petting zoo, bouncy castle, food stalls and much more.
The bowling club will be running a knock out event with prizes for the adult and children’s teams presented by the Rochdale borough Mayor Aasim Rashid.
There will be lots of community charity stalls, craft stalls and business stalls.
Entry fee: Free, any donations welcome
