Meet at Rochdale Town Hall
Journey through Heywood, past Bowlee and into Middleton.
Finishing at the Gardeners Arms.
Details:
Memorial ride for Scott who sadly died in Iraq.
Scott is a soldier from the 2nd Battalion, Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, and a Middleton lad who served his country with honour. I invite veterans and members of the public to attend and show our support for his family at this very difficult time.
We will ride from Rochdale to Middleton, finishing at The Gardeners Arms on Hollin Lane for a celebration of this young soldiers life.
Scotts mum, Anne, has asked we do the ride to keep Scott's memory alive and thanks everybody for their support.
The Gardeners Arms will be selling chicken curry with rice and a brew for £3 or veg curry rice and a brew £3 after the ride.
