Oktoberfest will return to Middleton Shopping Centre, it's original venue between the bus station and the Shopping Centre, on Saturday 29 September from 12noon till 7.00pm.

This year is going to be bigger and better than ever with Bands, Food and Beer.

Returning to its original venue, between Middleton bus station and shopping centre, this year's Oktoberfest is set to be the biggest yet with 6 live bands playing throughout the day, including:

  • Identity - A popular local duo
  • Son Primo - Alt-rock band
  • Assembly Point - playing songs from The Smiths and Stone Roses
  • Black Garter -  the hottest Classic Rock band in the North West
  • Covered In Punk - covering non-punk songs in their own upbeat punky style
  • The Late Show Band - performing Motown, disco, 80s, rock and contemporary pop music.

There'll also be amazing food stalls, including 'I Knead Pizza' and 'The Fish Finger Bar' and micro brewers such as 'Serious Brewing Company' and 'Bollingtons' providing tasty real ales.

You'll find a marquee bar with a selection of lagers, ciders, wine and soft drinks.
