Details:
Healey Dell Tea Rooms is holding a 1940's War Day event to the public on Sunday 22 April.
The event is held in the heart of a WWII munitions factory in Healey Dell and it is a truly hidden secret.
Throughout the day, there will be lots of military vehicles on display. Everyone is invited to dress in 40s fashion if they wish.
There will be a prize for the most originally dressed evacuee child.
The music of the 40s will be played and ration bags will be available to purchase from the tea room’s ground floor kitchen.
We would like to extend our grateful thanks to Jason and all the staff of the Co-op, Rooley Moor Road for their continued help, support and donations.
For more information, please contact Healey Dell Tea Room on 01706 350 459, or Pam on 07794 264 293.
