There is a walk organised for Monday 2 January in the north Manchester area, protesting at the proposed building of several thousand houses on greenbelt land.
Walkers are setting off from various points in the Middleton/Castleton/Shaw/Royton area, to congregate on the top of Tandle Hill at noon.
One group will start from the junction of Rochdale Road (A664) and Thornham Lane at 10.30am (just to the left of the picture of the monument).
