A brace from Inih Effiong, either side of a goal from Tyrese Sinclair, saw Dale lose 2-1 to Dagenham.

Inih Effiong put the visitors in front with a powerful finish from close range early on but Rochdale drew level when Tyrese Sinclair curled the ball into the top corner in the 40th minute for his 11th goal of the season.

Dagenham were awarded a penalty in stoppage time at the end of the first half when Jimmy Keohane was judged to have fouled Ryan Hill and Effiong powered it past Tiernan Brooks.
