Brandon Wood, 18, who currently plays for Rochdale Mayfield, has again been selected to represent his country, this time in the Home Nations Championships.
Wood played in the European Rugby League Championship in Serbia in August. Since his return home, he has represented England against Scotland, where the young Lions side won 44-6, with Brandon scoring two of the tries.
On Friday (12 October), the England team took on Wales at the Manchester Regional Arena.
Once again, the England side dominated the game and centre Wood ploughed over the try line, helping with the final score, which was again 44-6.
Wood, who is sponsored by SunChemical Ltd for his full England appearances, will also represent Lancashire when the Three Counties Championships start in November, alongside fellow Mayfield Player, Nico Rizzelli.
Wood is also sponsored by Rochdale Mayfield ARLFC, The Stephen Gartland Foundation and Recon Packaging Ltd.
