Hornets Indoor Carpet Bowls
Rochdale Hornets Rugby League are always seeking alternative ways to serve the community and, following a discussion with our members, we are pleased to launch the Rochdale Hornets Community Carpet Bowls League.
Played to English Carpet Bowls Association Rules (http://www.englishcarpetbowls.com/rules.html), Rochdale Hornets will host and administrate a Tuesday League at there Spotland Stadium base.
With 2 mats available for use, start times will be 10.30am or 12 noon. Teams are to be made up of 6 players and can consist of any mix of male/female bowlers.
The programme starts on Tuesday 16 October for a minimum of 8 weeks, with a finals day to follow.
Weekly fees of £3 per player are payable, with a £10 per team registration and entry fee to be paid at the time of registering your team.
New or existing bowls teams are encouraged to sign up by calling 01706 6648004 or calling into the Rochdale Hornets office at Spotland between 9.30am - 4.30pm.
Any individuals who wish to play but don’t have a team are also encouraged to leave your details at the office and we will do our best to allocate you to a team.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so get our entry in early to guarantee your place in what is sure to be a popular programme.
