'Memories that will last a lifetime' after Swarm's Ireland tour

The Rochdale Swarm have returned from their Ireland Tour without a win but with memories that will last a life time.
The Swarm again took part in the "Bull `n` Booze" Tag Festival in Bruff just South of Limerick.
In a fantastic event that featured 38 teams from all across Ireland as well as English Teams, Rochdale Swarm, The London Skolars and a team from Exeter.
The Swarm were drawn in a very competitive group which would go on to produce one of the eventual winners.
The Swarm lost their opening fixture 3-2, just missing out on a last minute score by Sarah Tait which would have brought the victory.
Next up for the Swarm was a game against the eventual winners of the Division the Swarm were in. The Irish side had too much pace and experience for the Rochdale side but Swarm players Doug McEndoo and Brian Ashton performed with great credit.
The final two games again saw the Swarm push their opponents close but not able to gain the elusive victory, despite the best efforts of Mat Gormley and Mat Fallows.
The Swarm did taste victory though as the London Skolars team had arrived with a depleted squad which was also hit by injuries so the each of the Swarm players played at least one game for the Skolars.
Placed in a slightly easier group the Skolars were able to claim a couple of victories due in no small part to the influence of the Swarm players.
The Skolars were able to even make the final of the Bowl competition and featured four Swarm players in the squad for both the Semi and Final. Unfortunately the Skolars/Swarm combo lost 2-0 in a tight final.
All the players then had a celebration party into the early hours to bring the curtain down on a fantastic weekend.
The Swarm are back in action on Saturday in a festival in Leeds. All players are asked to meet at 8.45am at Firgrove Workers for the trip.
