Pilsworth Road, Heywood closed due to fuel spillage

Pilsworth Road, Heywood is currently closed (11:20am, Monday 23 February) due to a fuel spillage.
It is understood that the fuel line on a HGV has split causing fuel to flow down the road after the vehicle collided with rising bollards.
The road is currently closed in the area of the rising bollards with diversions currently in place.
Rochdale Council are advising that people allow extra time for their journeys.
The police were called to the area at around 10:40am after Rochdale Council called for assistance in clearing the road.
