Traffic lights knocked down as driver loses control of car

A set of traffic lights in Castleton centre were knocked down yesterday (Sunday 10 April 2011) after a woman lost control of her car.
The accident happened at 11.30am at the junction of Manchester Road and Queensway.
A 60-year-old woman, driving a Vauxhall Zafira lost control of the car and crashed into the traffic lights.
She was treated at the scene for shock.
