Christmas cheer for the homeless

Christmas cheer has been provided by a donation to purchase turkeys and other festive goods to provide dinners for homeless people at local homelessness charity the Petrus Community.
Andy O’Sullivan MBE BEM and staff from Bacup Morrisons organised the gathering of the food worth £450
Denis Skelton, Co-ordinator of Petrus said: “People were genuinely touched by the generosity of the donors, Andy and staff from Morrisons.
“Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for people who are homeless and in need of housing, and support such as this is much appreciated.
