Michael Burke bailed by court

Michael Burke (03/09/1978) appeared at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court this afternoon (Tuesday 27 October) facing 17 charges – 11 of rape, five of indecent assault and one of attempted rape.
Mr Burke, of College Bank, Rochdale, pleaded not guilty to the accusations and fiercely shook his head as the charges were read out.
The charges are in relation to the historic sexual abuse of two girls, who at the time were aged under 14 and under 16 and a woman. The incidents took place between May 1990 and March 2010.

He was bailed with conditions and is due to appear at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on 17 November 2015.
