Broadfield Stile

Broadfield Stile
"Whilst walking along Drake Street recently, I noticed a piece of antiquity I hadn't seen before" says Alwyn Smith.
"It appears to be part of the Broadfield Stile which apparently was an access to that tract of land which subsequently became Broadfield Park.
"Since the item appears to predate all the surrounding buildings, I wonder if any historian amongst your readers could advise whether the stone is in its original position, or whether it was resited at the time of the development of the area."
