James Clarke charged with the murder of Graham Clarke

James Clarke (25/11/1980), has been charged with murdering his father, Graham Clarke, following an attack in Heywood.
Clarke, of no fixed address, has been charged with murder and section 47 assault.
Police were called to Claybank Street, Heywood shortly before 5:45pm on Sunday (5 April) following reports that two people had been assaulted.
Officers attended and found 52-year-old Graham Clarke with stab injuries. He was transferred to hospital but died a short time later.
A post mortem examination concluded that he died as a result of multiple stab wounds.
A 37-year-old woman, who was also at the house, suffered facial injuries.
Clarke is due to appear at Rochdale and Bury magistrates court today (Wednesday 8 April).
