Rochdale Freemasons donate £3,304 to Springhill Hospice

The Rochdale Freemasons have donated £3,304 to Springhill Hospice after money was raised by the Freemasons and their families.
Fundraising undertaken by the Freemasons and their families was done with the aim of assisting the Hospice and their vital role of helping those affected by terminal or life limiting illness.
Peter Hewitt, Chairman of the Rochdale District Freemasons, said: “Freemasons in East Lancashire are thrilled that the Freemason’s Grand Charity has continued to provide this vital funding to our local hospice.
“The care, compassion and support they provide to the community is outstanding and we are delighted that we are able to show our continuing dedication to their cause.”
Julie Halliwell, CEO of Springhill Hospice said: “We are always grateful for the generous donations we have received from the Freemasons. We are continuing to expand the services we offer. Donations like this are not only very welcome but are vital in enabling us to continue our work.”
