Ghulam Mustafa Trust family fun day
Date published: 01 November 2014
A family fun day was held today (Saturday 1 November) at Castlemere Community Centre to raise money for Palestine and Pakistan.
Organised by Nabz Mustafa, the event was held in association with the Ghulam Mustafa Trust.
Nabz said: “My dad runs the Ghulam Mustafa Trust so I organise events as part of that to raise money. We just wanted to do a community event to bring people together.”
All money raised from the event will be donated to charity.
“I’m not taking any money from the event,” added Nabz. “Everything is going directly to charity so whatever we raise today is all going to the cause.”
The event included a number of stalls such as cakes, jewellery, clothes and make up and also induced a bouncy castle, face painting and games.
Nabz added: “We have had a really good response to the event. I will be pleased with whatever money we raise.”
Nabz is planning on holding further fundraising events towards Christmas.
