Motorcyclist in serious condition following hit and run

A motorcyclist is in hospital in a serious condition after a hit and run incident on Brotherod Hall Road.
At around 8.15pm tonight (30 April) the motorcyclist was hit by a car, the car did not stop.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital were it is understood he is in a serious, but not life threatening, condition.
