Man has serious head injuries after being trapped in car after collision

A man who was trapped his car after it collided with a stone wall is in hospital with serious head injuries.
Two fire crews attended the scene on Rochdale Road, Edenfield shortly after 8:40pm on Tuesday evening (22 April).
The front seat of the car and the steering wheel had to be removed to get the man out of the car. Most of the damage occurred to the passenger side of the vehicle.
The man was taken to Blackburn Hospital for treatment.
