Barry Downes charged with rape

Barry Downes (10/12/1984) of Durham Street, Rochdale has been charged with rape and is due before Bury Magistrates today (Monday 13 January).
At about 10.25pm on Saturday 4 January 2014 a 32-year-old woman was attacked on Lincoln Close.
Downes was also charged with attempted rape and false imprisonment.
In October 2013, there was an attempted rape on a 22-year-old woman on Oldham Road.
In December 2013, a 28-year-old was falsely imprisoned at a house on Durham Street.
