Police cordon off car park on Hollingworth Road
A woman was found unconscious last night (Monday 1 July) in a Hollingworth Lake car park.
At about 5.00pm emergency services were called to Hollingworth Lake car park, Hollingworth Road, Littleborough.
Officers attended and found the body of a 54-year-old woman. A short time later she was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
There are not believed to be suspicious circumstances and the details have been passed to the coroner.
