The Officials, Committee and Members of the Co-operative Milnrow Band would like to wholeheartedly thank the family and friends of the late Arthur Clegg of Milnrow for monies received into band funds after his recent death.
As a past member and long time supporter of "Milnrow Band", it was always a pleasure to meet Arthur and exchange stories with him "at band" and also at functions that he latterly attended, many with his son Peter also a long standing member of he band.
Arthur`s popularity was confirmed by the number of banding friends old and new who attended his funeral, on 26 February 2010, and members of the band (and others), deemed it an honour that they were able to fulfill his request that they should play some of his favourite music to those present at Rochdale Crematorium.
The Co-operative Milnrow Band organisation once again thank the family and friends for donations received in memory of a true friend and gentleman Mr Arthur Clegg.
