Schools announce Wednesday closures (updated 9.15pm)

A number of Rochdale's schools have already announced that they will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday 6 January) due to the adverse weather.

More than 50 schools across the borough were closed today and 32 have now decided not to open tomorrow with the snow and freezing temperatures set to continue overnight.

The following schools will be closed on Wednesday 6 January:
