Cancer awareness sessions at Spotland Community Centre

Information sessions to raise awarness of three types of cancer have been launched at Spotland Community Centre.
Funded through Answer Cancer, the flexible sessions will focus on raising awareness and early detection of breast cancer, cervical cancer and bowel cancer.
Sessions usually take place once a week or once a fortnight, depending on numbers, and are offered in Urdu and Punjabi. There is no fixed day or time for the sessions and one-to-ones are also available.
