GCSE results 2022: Beech House School

Date published: 26 August 2022

After two years of teacher assessed grades, students at Beech House School were able to show off their talents by sitting their final GCSE examinations this summer.

100% of the students obtained a pass in English language and English literature through either their efforts this summer or through the iGCSE examinations which they sat earlier in the year.

The science, art and economics departments are also celebrating a 100% pass rate, with maths very close behind with a pass rate of 93.3%.

Special mention goes to Ankiait Chopra for achieving six grade 9s, Gabrielle El Hage, Pieter Ayal-Mullock, Dominic Dodd and Amelia Husain all achieved multiple grade 9s. Another special mention goes to Farhaan Shoaib, who achieved a grade 9 in French, sitting his examination three years early. This year's students achieved double the number of grade 9s compared to the last time examinations took place in 2019.

Jillian Street, Headteacher of Upper Prep and Seniors, said: "Congratulations to all of our Year 11s for working so hard throughout their turbulent GCSE years; they have made us very proud and we wish them all the best for the future."
