Fireground Museum Open Day – Fireground, Maclure Road
Open 10am - 4pm, Friday 6 and Saturday 7 May
Fire Museum attractions are on show including historic and recent day artifacts.
Beryl – Oldham Coliseum, Saturday 7 to Sunday 8 May
A play based on Beryl, who went on to become the greatest woman on two wheels.
Gallery Exhibition: Mixed Media and Textiles – Littleborough Coach House, Saturday 7 May, 10am – 3pm & Sunday 8 May, 11.30am – 2.30pm
This exhibition consists of Ruth Bristow - Mixed Media, Phoenix Textiles - Textiles.
Exhibition: The Football Art Prize – Touchstones Rochdale, Friday 6 - Sunday 8 May, Friday and Saturday open 10am - 5pm, Sunday open 10am - 4pm
To coincide with the 2022 World Cup year, Touchstones have created The Football Art Prize to celebrate art and football.
Exhibition: Whose Voice? – Touchstones Rochdale, Friday 6 - Sunday 8 May, Friday and Saturday open 10am - 5pm, Sunday open 10am - 4pm
Whose Voice? will explore the role that museums, art galleries and civic spaces play in contemporary society.
Covid-19 Vaccine Clinics
There are a number of drop-in vaccination clinics running at various locations across the borough. No appointment is needed for any of the clinics, but people that are booked in elsewhere should stick to their existing appointments.

Two Mr P’s in a Podcast – Middleton Arena, 7.30pm
Two Mr P’s will be sharing funny stories from the front line of teaching.
Northern Live – Heywood Civic Centre, 7.30pm
Northern Soul show.
Oulder Hill School Reunion – The Royal Toby Hotel, 7pm – 12am
A reunion of pupils who attended Oulder Hill Upper School who took their O levels in 1975, 1976, and 1977.
Comedy Night – The Flying Horse Hotel, 8.30pm
Ace Lips events bring you another comedy night to the Flying Horse.

Betfred League 1 match.
Walk Like a Man – Middleton Arena, 7.30pm
Walk Like a Man takes you back to 1962.
Alpine Flower Show and Plant Sales – 11am - 3.30pm
A National Alpine Flower Show featuring 140 classes.
Rochdale Rocks for Ukraine – Rochdale Ukrainian Club, 2.30pm
Benefit rock night for the victims in Ukraine.
Eid Party – Rochdale Pioneers Museum, 12pm - 3pm
Free community picnic on a first come first served basis for local families to mark the festive period after Ramadan.
Green Network Forum – Falinge Ppark Community Hub, 12pm - 2pm
Community gardening, litter picking or other environmental projects.
Rochdale Ramblers – Saturday Walks – Start from Todmorden Town Centre Bus Station, 10am
‘A Todmorden Trek’.
Rochdale Walton Angling Society Open Day – Healey Dell Nature Reserve, 10am - 3.30pm
An open day where everyone is welcome to attend and try fishing.
Falinge Park Community Hub Open Day – Falinge park Community Hub, 10am - 2pm

Bowlee Car Boot Sale and Market – Bowlee Community Park, 6am for sellers, 7am for public - 1.30pm
Bowlee Car Boot Sale & Market - one of the biggest in Greater Manchester.
Heaton Hall Tours – Open Day – Heaton Hall, 12pm - 4pm
Friends of Heaton Park are hosting free, monthly guided tours of the hall.
Six week walking group – Cowm Reservoir, 1pm
The distance for this walk will be 1.5 miles.
Tropical Fish Auction – Littleborough Conservative Club, 1pm start
Greater Manchester Cichlid Society open fish auction and anything aquatic.
Dr Anthony Crook Memorial Cricket Match – Thornham Cricket Club, 1pm
A memorial match between Captain's Select XI vs Chairmans Select XI.
