Van catches fire on Bury Road

The van fire
A van caught fire on Bury Road, Rochdale, on Sunday afternoon (15 December).
The fire service was called to the scene at 3.35pm following reports of a fire affecting a silver Mercedes Sprinter van.
Police closed the road whilst the blaze was tackled with two hose reels and breathing apparatus.
Fortunately, no-one was injured and the fire service left the incident at 4.20pm.
