A680 Edenfield Road, Cheesden, Norden, Rochdale closed both ways
Edenfield Road (A680) is currently closed in both directions near to the Owd Betts pub following an accident this morning, Thursday 18 July.
The road is closed between Ashworth Road (Rochdale side) and Bamford Road (Edenfield side).
A Lancashire police spokesperson said: ”We were called shortly before 8.00am this morning, Thursday 18 July, to reports of a collision on Rochdale Road, A680.
“It involved two cars. A man and a woman have been taken to Salford hospital.
“A road closure is currently in place.”
Motorists are being advised to find an alternative route.
