Beech House School pupils with their awards at the Rochdale Youth Festival of Performing Arts
Beech House performed well in the Speech section at the Rochdale Youth Festival of Performing Arts with Fatima Afzal winning the Year 4 and under Poetry reading section.
Laya Karunanandarajah, Arabella Hey, Falisha Malik, Yumna Rana all achieved highly commended.
The Year 6 section was won by Grace Pountain, with Anais Aston runner up.
Imaan Afzal and Farhaan Shoaib were both highly commended.
Rayhaan Shoaib was commended for his performance.
In the Year 9 and under section Antonio Nangle was awarded a highly commended, as was Humna Munir in the Year 11 and under.
Omar Afzal was awarded highly commended in the Open section.
In the Prose section Anais Aston, Antonio Nangle and Grace Pountain all received commended.
