Whitworth Head of PE returns to old university

Year 8 students from Whitworth Community High School at Edge Hill University, Ormskirk
The Head of PE at Whitworth Community High School returned to his old university at Edge Hill along with some of his current Year 8 students recently.
Will Cawley, pays an annual visit to Edge Hill to talk to students about his journey to becoming a PE teacher.
Will said: “I was accompanied by fourteen Year 8 students from Whitworth and one, Sam Wellington, was invited to also speak during the talk.”
Sam said: “I was asked to explain my answer to one of the questions on my Year 7 exam paper because I got 6 marks out of 6 for it.”
The Year 8 Whitworth pupils also got to look around the college during their visit.
