Cardinal Langley school closed due to power cut

Date published: 24 January 2019

Cardinal Langley High School has closed today (Thursday 24 January) due to a power cut.

A spokesperson for the school said: “We have experienced a power cut and do not expect power to be back on within the next few hours.

“Unfortunately, this means we will be unable to cook food or heat the building and therefore, sadly, school will need to close.

“Any child who needs to stay in school until we contact parents will be able to do so.

“Presently, our telephone system is not working.

“We will update everyone as soon as we are able to.”
